Regular gigs around Reading and as the house band for the Berkshire Jazz Jam are honing the chops of this jazz trio who perform standards, bop, funk and latin tunes.

BassDrum is a free improvising, triphop collective. The core of the band is Fabio Iacono (e-drums, synths and loops), Steve Read (bass), Michael Mederer (sax) and Jamie Howell (guitar).

Berkshire Jazz Jam

The JazzJam takes place on the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Global Cafe in Reading (address below).

House band plays from 8pm, open jam session from 9-11pm.

All players (and listeners) are welcome – any instrument and level of ability.
Backline, PA and drumkit are provided - just bring your instrument.

Tea Thieves

Between 2000 and 2003, the Thieves played and recorded their own distinctive brand of electro-acoustic alt-pop in Budapest, Hungary. The multi-national band produced three recordings and performed regularly in the capital to their loyal following.

mFISH

Formed in 2005, mFISH were a rock trio with their own brand of contemporary guitar based music. Influenced by classic rock, Seattle grunge and pop song-smiths, they wrote, recorded and performed their own material until 2007.
